The upcoming Porsche 911 Turbo, scheduled for production in the second half of 2025, will introduce hybrid assistance for the first time, but the new 911 Carrera S will continue to rely solely on petrol power. The 911 Turbo is expected to adopt a hybrid system similar to the “T-Hybrid” of the recently revealed 911 Carrera GTS, which combines a new 3.6-litre flat-six engine with electric motors.
Rolls-Royce has created a bespoke Phantom Goldfinger to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the James Bond film, featuring extensive hand-crafted details inspired by the original vehicle. The one-off model includes unique elements such as an 18-carat gold bar in the console, a picnic table engraved with a map of Fort Knox, and a projection of the 007 logo when the boot is opened, all designed to enhance the connection to the film's narrative.
Lancia is set to revive the Gamma nameplate with an all-electric model, slated for full reveal in 2026, following the recent introduction of the electric Ypsilon. Built at Fiat's Melfi plant on the STLA Medium platform, the new Gamma is expected to offer various body styles and powertrain options, potentially competing with premium EVs like the BMW i4 and Mercedes CLA EV.
During Tesla's Q3 earnings call, Elon Musk stated that the company sees the future as autonomous and deemed the development of a standard $25,000 model, speculatively called 'Model 2', unnecessary. Brabus has introduced the Rocket GTS, a unique Shooting Brake variant based on the Mercedes-AMG SL, featuring a plug-in hybrid powertrain that produces 986 horsepower. The vehicle has extensive custom bodywork, with a full carbon fiber exterior, while its performance metrics include a 0-100 km/h time of 2.6 seconds and a top speed of 317 km/h, with a starting price of approximately €945,762.50.
Hyundai has introduced a limited-edition Kona Electric called the Kona Mauna Loa in Japan, with only 30 units available. This variant features rugged design elements, including "Wild & Tough Black" paint, off-road accessories, and a unique interior, while maintaining the same performance specifications as the standard Kona Electric.

Lando Norris expressed his respect for Max Verstappen but criticized his driving during the Mexico City Grand Prix, stating it was "not fair, clean racing" after Verstappen received two 10-second penalties for incidents involving Norris. The clashes have prompted discussions among drivers and the FIA about revising racing guidelines, as Norris believes Verstappen's aggressive tactics are becoming a concern in their championship rivalry.
Sergio Perez criticized Liam Lawson's attitude in Formula 1, citing multiple incidents, including their collision during the Mexico City Grand Prix, as evidence of Lawson's need for humility and respect on and off the track. Perez expressed concern that Lawson's aggressive driving style could jeopardize his future in the sport, suggesting that Red Bull should address his approach to racing to prevent further costly mistakes.
Max Verstappen received two penalty points on his super-licence for incidents involving Lando Norris during the Mexico City Grand Prix, bringing his total to six within the past 12 months. The penalties were a result of Verstappen forcing Norris off track during their battle for position, leading to a 10-second time penalty for each incident, ultimately finishing the race in sixth place.

A Honda Civic which featured in a recent alleged insurance fraud attempt on a New York highway and gained significant attention on social media, has been found vandalised following the incident. The Civic has had its window smashed, with signs saying “fraud” and “rats” left on it, following a video in which it reversed into another car after swerving in front of it and slamming on its brakes. A red Kia also seen in the video has also been filmed involved in similar previous incidents.
Ferrari keeps extensive documentation on nearly all vehicles it builds in order to provide lifelong support for its cars. It can produce new parts using modern techniques like 3D printing, and even continues to offer upgraded components in some cases to ensure that both classic and current models remain operational for decades.
The Villa La Massa Excellence event, held on October 12, 2023, showcased 22 high-end sports cars produced from 1990 onwards, culminating in the award of the "Coppa d'Oro Villa La Massa" to a 2023 Bugatti Centodieci.
