The 2025 Shanghai Auto Show has commenced, showcasing a variety of new models from numerous manufacturers, including Bentley, which has introduced the Azure special edition across its model lines. Highlighting the event is the Bentley Bentayga EWB Azure, featuring a distinctive Nila Blue finish and a plethora of customizable options, alongside the Azure variants of the Continental GT and Flying Spur, all of which incorporate a new hybrid powertrain that enhances performance compared to previous models.
The Porsche 911 Spirit 70 is a limited-edition model that honors the design aesthetics of the 1970s, built on the hybrid 911 GTS Cabriolet platform. With only 1,500 units available globally and a starting price of $242,250 in the US, this vehicle features distinctive Olive Neo paint and a striking interior that showcases the vintage Pasha pattern.
A new electric vehicle called the AUDI E5 Sportback has been introduced as part of a China-exclusive sub-brand, distinct from the traditional Audi lineup. Built on a platform developed in collaboration with SAIC, this model boasts impressive performance metrics and advanced technology, including a large display and extensive safety features, while future models are planned for release in the coming years.

Volkswagen is advancing its commitment to the Chinese automotive market by introducing three innovative concepts - ID. Aura, ID. Era, and ID. These vehicles, tailored to meet the preferences of Chinese consumers, feature advanced automated driving capabilities and are part of a broader strategy to launch over 30 new models, including a significant number of electric vehicles, by 2027.
The latest version of the Subaru Outback marks a departure from its predecessors, evolving from an off-road estate to an SUV, but it will not be available in the UK or anywhere else in Europe.
